In 1933, villagers near Vera Cruz in Mexico reportedly uncovered a giant set of bones measuring 32 feet 10 inches in length. A Giant skeleton that they were sure belonged to an ancient ancestor of the gods they worshipped. The villagers built a shrine or plaza to protect the remains and give them a place to pay their respects. When word got out it attracted the attention of scientists who planned a trip to the small village in order to give the giant bones a proper investigation. But, as the paper reports, before they left or even had a chance to examine the actual remains - the scientists said they figured what had been discovered was QUOTE - "a prehistoric vertebrate and not even human". SO what did they find? Well, nothing - no further report on the discovery was ever published or reported. Some people figured the villagers had hid the giant bones or - as some of the more conspiracy minded individuals asserted - the huge skeleton was seized and hidden - a coverup of giant proportions so to speak. SO what do you think? Prehistoric mistake? A real giant? Or as some want to believe - proof of an ancient civilization predating modern historical accounts?
