Vi and I decided to get out of the house and head over to the Dauis Bazaar today to celebrate All Saints Day here in the Philippines. And let me tell you, the place was packed! When you get a holiday like this, everybody seems to have the same idea. Get together, enjoy some good food, and spend a little time with family and friends. That's exactly what we had in mind.
Now, one thing about these local food bazaars is that you never know what you're going to find, and that's part of the fun. There was plenty of food to choose from, and we ended up picking some of our personal favorites. Sushi, tuna jaw, and pork belly. If you've spent any time in the Philippines, you know that food is a big part of the experience. Sometimes the simplest outings turn into the most enjoyable days. We were hoping to sit down and enjoy our meal right there, but with so many people and not a single table available, we decided to take everything home instead.
And here's the funny part. We brought home so much food that it looks like tomorrow's lunch is already taken care of! No complaints here. Good food, good company, and a little adventure with Vi. That's what makes living here enjoyable. Sometimes you don't need a big travel plan or an expensive night out. You just need to get out, explore what's happening around you, and enjoy the moment.
