Chinese Herbal Tea for stress and bloating - Rose Bud, Aged Tangerine Peel, Poria and Dried Longan Tea 🫖 If you’re feeling stressed and bloated, this is caused by liver Qi stagnation and spleen heart deficiency. In TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), your nervous system and gut are interconnected so when you’re stressed ~ your Qi (energy) gets stuck and disrupts your digestive system. This herbal tea helps break up the stuck energy and clear digestive stagnation while nourishing your body for better digestion and emotional well-being. TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) benefits of each ingredient: ❤️Poria (Fu Ling) - this is a medicinal fungus called “wolfiporia coco”. They come in these small chalky white cubes (kinda looks like tiny tofu). They are neutral in temperature and have a bland taste. Their superpower is strengthening the spleen which is responsible for turning food and liquids into usable energy. They also calm the mind & anchor the nervous system and drains excess dampness. ❤️Dried Longan (Long Yan) - these fruits are considered warming and are great for combating fatigue and soothing a “racing mind” caused by blood or energy depletion. ❤️Aged Tangerine Peel (Chen Pi) - great for breaking up digestive stagnation, bloating, gas, indigestion and regulates Qi (vital energy). ❤️Rose buds (Mei Gui Hua) - moves liver Qi. Gently uplifts your mood, relieves stress, regulates energy flow and blood circulation. Herbs: Poria (10 pieces) Rose buds (12 pieces) Aged tangerine peel (1 small piece - remove the pith) Dried longan (8 pieces) How to brew: 1. Soak the tangerine peel in warm water for 15 mins until it softens 2. Rinse the poria, longan and rose buds to remove impurities 3. Once the tangerine peel is soft, take a spoon and scrape the pith out (this part is bitter) 4. Place everything in a tea pot. Fill it with water until everything is covered 5. Gently boil for 10-15 mins 6. Serve and enjoy. This makes a perfect tea to unwind the day with. It’s very refreshing with a subtle sweetness from the longan fruits and a citrusy aroma from the tangerine peel 🫖 #chineseherbaltea #chinesetea #teas #traditionalchinesemedicine #TCM #herbaltea #poria #agedtangerinepeel #rosebuds #driedlongan #bloatingremedy #stressrelief
