With extensive experience in mental health research, teaching, and psychosocial interventions, her work focuses on substance use disorders, behavioural and technology addiction, community-based rehabilitation, caregiver well-being, and mental health among vulnerable populations. Her collaborative work spans government organizations, NGOs, and professional associations, to advance mental health research, capacity building, and community-based interventions. Dr. Shreedevi has actively contributed to academic research, professional training, and community mental health initiatives through publications, projects, and mentoring of students and professionals. She is widely recognised for her commitment to advancing mental health care, psychosocial rehabilitation, and evidence-based practice in India.
