There is a stick on this branch…
But it’s alive. 🌿👀
Meet the Stick Insect, also known as the Walking Stick — one of nature’s most perfect masters of disguise.
Belonging to the order Phasmatodea and commonly found in forests around the world, this insect survives not by speed or strength, but by being invisible in plain sight.
In this short wildlife story, you’ll discover:
How stick insects imitate branches and twigs flawlessly
The shocking fact that some species can clone themselves without mating
Why they can regrow lost legs
And how freezing completely can save their lives
No chase.
No defense.
Just deception.
This is not hiding.
This is becoming the environment.
