At just five months old, Iker faced his toughest challenge: a severe aortic coarctation that required emergency surgery. The specialists were grim, giving his mother only a 10% chance of survival. Against all odds, and to God's glory, Iker pulled through, but the road has not been easy. A cardiorespiratory arrest and a month in intensive care left lasting effects that doctors feared would leave him in a vegetative state.
However, a mother's unconditional love and this little boy's boundless courage defied all medical predictions. Today, ten years later, after a decade of constant therapy, Iker is a cheerful, intelligent, and profoundly happy child who teaches us the true meaning of resilience. 🙏 CALL FOR SOLIDARITY ACTION:
