For many years, Don Arturo dedicated his life to serving his community, providing support to senior citizens, people with disabilities, and those facing illness. Today, life has taken a dramatic turn, and he is facing a critical health battle after being diagnosed with prostate cancer and the aftereffects of an aggressive anaplastic astrocytoma that has affected his mobility.
His daughter, Jeannette Macias, divides her time between caring for her young baby and overseeing her father's delicate medical care. In every everyday gesture, like Don Arturo's gentle wave to his granddaughter from his bed, she finds the strength to carry on.
We respectfully and sincerely appeal to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), health and social assistance foundations, medical specialists, institutions, and altruistic individuals who can offer guidance, institutional support, outreach, or technical/medical collaboration to improve Don Arturo's quality of life and provide him with the support this remarkable human being deserves.
