Stop scrolling—are you trying to hide your past from God? 🕊️👑
Welcome to our New Testament Scripture of the Week! As we continue our book-by-book journey, we arrive at Romans 3:23. It drops one of the greatest equalizers in human history: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Modern culture tells us to forget our past and never look back. But the Apostle Paul reminds us that remembering our original condition is actually vital for our faith.
We are no longer slaves to sin (Romans 6:6), but if we forget the mess we were in before Christ, we lose our appreciation for the rescue. Remembering your brokenness isn't meant to bring you shame—it is the foundation of your testimony, and it shows you the true weight of God's Grace!
Don't run from your past. Relish in that Grace today!
Now... jump off YouTube. Stop scrolling. Go spend some time in prayer right now. Thank God for pulling you out of where you used to be, listen to what He is telling you, and have an amazing rest of your Thursday!
