In 2015, our founder Deb was diagnosed with CRPS, and it turned her whole world upside down. When she attended a CRPS convention in 2016 at Disneyland, her happy place, she was forced to use a scooter since she could not walk. She states, "This was SO defeating and I was determined to walk the park at Disneyland again."
Fast-forward 10 years later: In March 2026, she began monthly ketamine treatments along with lymphatic massages. She forced herself to walk at least 3-5k steps a day, and due to that, along with her unwavering determination to walk her happy place again, she's excited to say that she accomplished that goal of walking the park at Disneyland for the first time on, June 27, 2026.
She states, "After 11 years I cried tears of joy as I could experience my happy place the way I used to. Never imagined I would ever see this day happen."
Deb is very thankful for everyone who has supported her through the good and bad, helping her to keep going and never give up.
She states, "I still have to use my walker, and there will be times I have to use the scooter, and I know I will be out of commission for a bit, but knowing I can do this, I'm overwhelmed with emotion.
My message to all warriors is NEVER give up. Your strength and determination can make it possible to do things again. We may never get back to ourselves 100%, but the small victories will give you hope. Take pictures of your wins and celebrate! CRPS won't beat any of us.
Know you're not alone, and there will always be someone to cheer you on. Reach out to CRPS Warriors Foundation, and we will cheer you on!"
In July 2026, Deb continues her ketamine infusions with Professional Resource, Dr. Sahin A. Sadik. The fight against CRPS continues! 🔥🧡
