My top 5 picks worth your $$$ for baking 1. Kitchenaid stand mixer. This is a non-negotiable if you love baking. It will save you so much time and carpal tunnel from having to whip meringue, cream or knead dough for a million hours! It also lasts forever, I had mine for over 10 years and it’s still going strong!💪 2. Digital scale. Because baking requires precision, it’s so important to weigh out all your ingredients to make sure you have an accurate ratio. 3. Quality butter. Butter is the holy grail in baking so you’ve gotta get the good stuff! 😉 Go for European butter because it has 82-84% fat compared to 80% in standard American butter. The extra 2-4% fat will help yield the flakiest puff pastry, pie and cookies! Look out for Isigny Sainte-Mère and Beurre d’Isigny 4. Quality chocolate. Choosing good chocolate for your desserts is a game changer. Look for 60-70% dark chocolate with no oils or artificial substitutes. Higher cocoa butter content (versus cheap fillers) has a smoother melt, better snap, and richer flavor in the finished bake. For the crème de le creme… go for Valrhona or Callebaut. Guittard and Dandelion are also great👌 5. A convection oven ♨️ this is basically an oven with a fan that circulates hot air continuously around your baked goods vs heat from just the top & bottom in a conventional oven. The moving air makes sure you have a more consistent bake with better browning and crisping. Bonus: Spatulas. Lots of them. Silicone spatulas, offset spatulas (large and minis) they will be your best friend for all your frosting, mixing and scraping needs :) 🍰 See part 2:    • 5 more things worth your money (Baking edi...… #worththemoney #worthyourmoney #bakingessentials #bakingmusthaves #bakingtools
