Learn how to pan-fry sardines without smoke or filling your house with the smell, thanks to a very simple trick using parchment paper. A quick, healthy recipe, perfect for enjoying juicy, flavorful sardines without needing a barbecue or grill. ➖PAN-FRIED SARDINES➖ 📝 INGREDIENTS: 🔸 Fresh sardines — 8 pieces 🔸 Coarse salt — to taste 🔸 Extra virgin olive oil — 1 tablespoon 🔸 Parchment paper 🔥 PREPARATION: ▪️1. Place a sheet of parchment paper on the countertop and put the sardines on top. ▪️2. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with coarse salt. ▪️3. Close the paper to form a tightly sealed packet. ▪️4. Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. (⚠️ Important: Add the sardines when the pan is hot; on my ceramic hob, this is setting 5.) ▪️5. Place the package in the pan and cook for 4 minutes. ▪️6. Carefully flip the sardines and cook for another 4 minutes on the other side. ▪️7. Carefully open the package and serve the freshly cooked sardines. 🔍 TIPS: 🔹 If the sardines aren't very fresh, you can ask the fishmonger to clean them for you. 🔹 This technique also works very well with mackerel, horse mackerel, or large anchovies. 🔹 Serve them with a tomato salad or boiled potatoes with olive oil. ♦️INGREDIENTS FOR TWO PEOPLE♦️ ©️ Chef MSPín 🚀 ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ #sardines #fish #easyrecipes #easycooking #summer
