Mika Kim | Contemporary Mixed Media Artist
Korean-born contemporary artist living and working in the United States.
My work explores color, texture, movement, and emotion through painting, drawing, fabric, and installation. Working intuitively with layers and repeated gestures, I allow each artwork to evolve through experimentation and transformation.
My practice is energetic, raw, and expressive—embracing imperfection, spontaneity, and the unexpected.
Through my ongoing Creating Every Day series, I share my artistic process, everyday studio life, and the continuous evolution of my paintings.
My work has been exhibited internationally across the United States, Canada, South Korea, Europe, and Southeast Asia, including SCOPE Art Miami, CONTEXT Art Miami, and Affordable Art Fair New York.
