I’m Charlie Orellana, a creative director, filmmaker and photographer from Guatemala.

My work explores the relationship between the land and people, creating visual stories for those who seek a more conscious way of living and value the environments that sustain us, expressed through visual narratives that connect us more with the earth.

My origins as a storyteller and visual artist have been rooted in the cultural impact that indigenous wisdom and my home landscape have had in my life, especially Guatemala and it's volcanoes. They have served as great life teachers, beyond any other technical methodology, allowed me to grow a mindful approach to both life and image-making, and inspired me to follow visual media as a vehicle of contribution to the world that future generations will inherit.
