Shaped by the alternative music scene of the 1990s, E-Grand has developed a deeply melodic, electric and instinctive sound.
Its music stands somewhere between British pop and American rock, drawing echoes from the tension of Pixies, the depth of R.E.M., the elegance of David Bowie, the guitars of Neil Young and the melodic instinct of Teenage Fanclub.
But E-Grand does not seek to reproduce its influences. The band transforms them into a personal musical world inhabited by doubt, memory, absence, love, solitude and the deeply human struggle to find one’s place in the world.
After several albums and numerous live performances, E-Grand returns with A Place No God Will Ever Find, its darkest, most intimate and most expansive album to date.
Ten songs. Ten passages towards a hidden reality—a place where hope may still emerge after certainty, belief and every external light have disappeared.
