Following the successful launch of the Martial Arts Sports Symposium UK in 2025, MASSUK returns in 2026 with a one-day multidisciplinary medical education symposium for clinicians, allied health professionals, coaches and athletes focused on the prevention, assessment and management of karate-related injuries and athlete performance.

The programme examines injury in karate across Forms (Kata), Kumite and Sparring from beginner to elite level, with the opportunity to observe a live karate training camp and participate in a martial arts-based stunt workshop. Sessions will be delivered by an expert multidisciplinary faculty alongside elite athletes and performers including Jordan Thomas, Justin Ortiz and Jewelianna Ramos-Ortiz.
