We must keep standing and keep fighting the good fight. Victory belongs to Jesus, and for that, God Almighty, our heavenly Father, will always win the war. God has us in the palm of his hands. Happy Thursday Rhema Family 💕🙌🏽🥰🙌🏽

RHEMA FAMILY, I believe the Body of Christ has truly forgotten that the heart of Christ matters.

As I observe what is happening both within the Body and outside of the Body, my spirit is grieved because I see how little room we sometimes make for the sinner. People who are struggling in their walk may fumble sometimes. People who are new to the faith may not know everything yet.People who are still in the world may be searching, hurting, confused, and in need of someone to show them the love of Christ. And yes, some people may have intentionally chosen the world. But when did that become a reason for us to stop loving them?

What happened to the believers who would love you despite your sin? Loving someone does not mean condoning their sin. Grace does not mean compromising truth. And accepting someone does not mean agreeing with everything they do. God does not condone sin, but He still loves the sinner.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Jesus did not wait until we had everything together before He loved us.

He met us in our mess.

He reached for us in our brokenness.

He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light.

So why are we sometimes making people feel like they have to get themselves together BEFORE they can come to Jesus?

THE CHURCH SHOULD BE A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE ENCOUNTER JESUS, NOT A PLACE WHERE BROKEN PEOPLE ARE MADE TO FEEL UNWORTHY OF HIM.

We can speak truth AND love.

We can call sin what it is AND still extend grace.

We can have boundaries AND still have compassion.

We can correct someone AND still remind them that they are loved.

Because the goal is not to prove how righteous we are.

The goal is to point people to Jesus.

My heart is truly grieved for the Body of Christ.

I am praying that God would restore our compassion.

Restore our humility.

Restore our burden for souls.

Restore our love for the lost.

Restore our ability to look beyond someone’s current condition and see the person Christ died for.

RHEMA FAMILY, WE CANNOT FORGET THE HEART OF CHRIST.

There are people watching how we treat sinners.

There are people watching how we treat new believers.

There are people who are one encounter away from surrendering their lives to Jesus.

And sometimes, God may use our love to help lead them to Him.

If you are reading this and you know you need Jesus, you don’t have to clean yourself up first.

You don’t have to have all the answers.

You don’t have to fix your entire life before coming to Him.

Come to Jesus just as you are.

Say this prayer 🙏🏽

“Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I recognize that I am a sinner and that I need a Savior. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again. Lord Jesus, forgive me, cleanse me, and come into my heart. I surrender my life to You. Help me to turn away from sin and teach me how to follow You. Give me a new heart, a new mind, and a new desire for You. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. From this day forward, I belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
