This is the YouTube channel of the Brazil GEF Biogas Project, which is led by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI) and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in conjunction with the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME ), the Ministry of the Environment (MMA), the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), the International Center for Renewable Energies (CIBiogás) and Itaipu Binacional.
The Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae), the Brazilian Biogas Association (ABiogás) and the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) are strategic partners of the project.
The Brazil GEF Biogas Project is financed by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The main goals of the Project are to decrease greenhouse gas emissions, to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels in Brazil, and to develop a national business environment that is favorable to biogas and its by-products.
