I’m out here at Dreamcon for the weekend and running a few ideas by folks, but I wanted your perspective on some things. Lately we’ve been making a lot of content to help new & returning players cross that gap into easily learning the game. As of right now I feel like I’m missing something that would help you guys but I’m not exactly sure what that is.
Yo! Got a question for ya'. What's your secondary gacha game you play besides Zenless Zone Zero? I've been thinking about what secondary content I may want to add to the channel and just wanted to know what everyone was playing on the side.
Spent some time on stream yesterday going over the latest Zenless tier list on Prydwen, then decided it'd be easier to just create a separate visual to explain the current state of the game instead.
TLDR; I believe this is a more accurate representation of where the DPS sit.

If you guys had to pick 1-2 limited S-Ranks to start over, completely F2P in Zenless Zone Zero. Which ones would you pick and why?
Yo guys let me bug your ear for a bit. Recently I started a F2P account for Zenless to use for both personal and content reasons. So far it's going good but I wanted some other opinions on the plans here. Let me explain.
- The account was made primarily for me to enjoy the story uninterrupted. At my own pace, without the feeling of needing to rush through to claim exclusive rewards. Due to the recent arguments about what a F2P/new player can do in End Game vs "Top 1% players", the idea was brought up to me that I could use this account as a more relatable one for others to (at the very least attempt) try to compare themselves to/challenge myself. That I should use this account as my "reasonable example" for other players to follow when it comes to handling end game, as if they didn't have every Agent/team available to them. This presented a new dilemma.
1. Even though the idea is good, I'm definitely not treating this account like a F2P sweat shop. I'm mega casual about this, not logging in every day, not exhausting the world for 1 poly/min, etc.
2. I'm a firm believer in practicing what I preach. The amount of times I've told you guys to buy the BP (if you complete it), saving Residuals for W-Engines, or planning pulls/abusing spending events is countless. I would personally buy the BP if I complete it because that's my prerogative (I have not done so yet). I'm not spending $100s to pull ANYTHING on this account LOL (I'd just spend on my main).
3. Last night on stream (if you were there you're a real one and can vouch), chat decided they were going to rob the F2P page status from the account regardless of what I wanted. Donations were received but not used.
So with all of that said, is an account like that even usable for you guys who are looking for me to do something like that for content? I, personally, don't care for any kind of F2P status (but I know I'm spending money on 2 accounts). However, I do have 2yrs worth of knowledge on a fresh account vs brand new players, or even what we had at launch. I know what to pull for and what not to. My skill is higher than the average player (barely), and if I'm using the account for content then wouldn't it make the most sense for me to prep it FOR content?
I plan on making a few videos about this (or around the topic), so please feel free to give me your thoughts and opinions here. Looking for valid perspectives that will help you guys better content. Not looking for entitled comments about how F2P is the only thing that matters, blah blah blah.

I know this will be a hot take and I'm almost certain this is a sentiment I might be alone on. I’m literally working on forcing my opinion to change but atm- Ye Shunguang is the sickest most “broken” DPS I’ve played since pre-buff Sanby.
She has blatant ultra instinct Goku levels of power with the dumbest freaking contradicting kit possible. She looks cool as heck doing everything imaginable and has almost everything you’d want. • raw DMG • 99% I-frames • Void Hunter • EXTREMELY EASY +50k score range in Deadly Assault * Ignores almost every mechanic in the game for better DMG performance, etc.
All of that to have HALF of her kit be practically useless! Why make “the first dual-form” character just for one of her forms to be completely redundant? It’s just spamming BAs until you get sword force, and getting Sword Force is already conditional in its own right. I thought, maybe her base form would do something similar to Cartitheya from WuWa but no. Her kit "feels" physically broken.
Imagine if base form Cart did absolutely NOTHING except spam attacks so you can get into big Cart, but spamming took 4yrs so you NEEDED Cia & Chisa/SK to get into big Cart faster. Big Cart only last until you do big Ult and you can only do big Ult once per 2-3x transformations, and nobody else in the game benefits you to help your gameplan. You either get the fast transformation but no power or power with slow transformations.
Mind you, there's still the physical flaws in the game like if you get caught in a parry sequence and Ye Shunguang enters Ultra Instinct. She'll actively screw up the entire parry chain because she needs to aura farm in mid-air. Oh and if Zhao is doing her off-field GS charge, now you can't parry into anyone else either. I thought these things were just one offs at first but after playing the same 2 fights over and over for +8hrs I don't believe they're one offs anymore. ——
I’m still testing and I enjoy theory crafting what’s possible but I’ve never been this disappointed in a DPS Agent from Zenless before. I just feel like they took a concept from Hi3 (WuWa is most recent) but didn’t even bother looking at why it works in the first place. The "Dual-form" aspect should make BOTH forms useful. Base form should do SOMETHING for UI form, not just "rush to 6 stacks for DMG mode" because going into big PP DMG mode without proper resources is also a problem.
I want to be wrong about this so bad cause she quickly became one of my favorite Agents from the lore alone, but FU-! If anyone has any vital info that can help me change my opinions or see things differently please send it my way.
Hot take: I actually like The Thrall in Zenless Zone Zero and think it's a damn good design for Deadly Assault.
I'll explain further in a video, and I understand the current frustrations against the boss but I just spent a single hour learning how to fight them and my score jumped 20k pts AFTER learning how to fight him and I'm still not done. My builds aren't perfect and I havent' activated any of my M1's yet. My Lucia doesn't have her Engine or 24k HP either.
The fight is fun. The phases are consistent. The rotations are clean. I actually encourage more of this.

Point is, playing CE server makes me "burn out" faster because I never get to actually enjoy the game with you guys when it goes live.
So this patch I want to learn Dailyn & other things along with you guys. Maybe I need to go back to my roots for inspiration. Regardless, I owe you guys a should you pull.
