In 2017 Lamix (Lamin Mbergan) introduced himself on the hip hop scene with the single "Hey Baby" which became an instant hit and was Grammy nominated for "Song of the Year". In 2018, he made an acclaimed performance on National Radio's P3 Gold, who also named him "Artist of the Future" at the gala. Today, "Hey Baby" has sold 3 x platina.

Since his debut, Lamix has released several singles, EPs and albums as well as collabs with artists like Jireel, Cherrie, Mwuana, Ant Wan and Molly Hammar. He still navigates in hip hop but has become increasingly genre-conquering, creating everything from trap-influenced productions to afrobeats and pop. He has performed on some of Sweden's biggest stages such as Lollapalooza, Hudikkalaset and Storsjöyran.

After being signed to a major label for three years, Lamix chose to go independent at the end of 2020 to create music on his own terms. Early 2022, he's releasing the EP "Bakom Kulisserna", that includes the singles "Tsunami" and "Området".
