I’m Dee Wells — a storyteller, educator, cultural curator, sneaker anthropologist and co-founder of OSD (Obsessive Sneaker Disorder), SOLEcial Studies CommUNITY Academy and Protect Our Culture.

For more than two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of sneakers, sports, music, education and culture. But I’ve learned that the most important part of culture isn’t the product — it’s the people, places and stories behind it.

That’s what this channel is about.

Here, I share conversations, observations and stories about sneaker culture, Hip Hop, sports, travel, the U.S. Virgin Islands, education, community, photography, filmmaking and the experiences that connect us.

Some videos will look back at history. Others will document what’s happening right now. And sometimes I’ll simply turn on the camera and tell you what I’m thinking.

Because culture doesn’t preserve itself.

We have to document it.
We have to teach it.
We have to share it.
And more importantly, we have to protect it.
