Welcome to Kalyna Tales — animated stories from the heart of Ukrainian folklore.

Forest spirits, house guardians, midnight fortune-telling and ancient rituals. Ukraine has a world of legends that most people have never heard of, and we bring them to life one story at a time.

Every video tells a legend or tradition as an animated tale, then answers one question: what's myth, and what's real?

On this channel you'll find:

— Creatures and spirits of Ukrainian mythology
— Legends, beliefs and customs from across Ukraine
