Conversation Design Institute (CDI) is the world's leading training, certification, and consulting group for people building Conversational AI (CAI) agents at scale. We pioneered Agentic Experience Design (AXD): the discipline of deciding when an agent acts, how much agency it holds, and when control returns to a human.
As agents take initiative on an organization's behalf, trust is everything. Conversational Capital is the trust companies want to build with every customer, and CDI helps them build it, through evidence-based workflows, shared standards, and 15,000+ certified practitioners.
With offices in Austin (USA) and Amsterdam (NL), CDI serves 200+ enterprise clients worldwide. Microsoft, Salesforce, Verint, Rasa, and others support our mission of human-centric AI through the CDI Foundation, a non-profit that funds research, sets industry standards, awards scholarships, and runs the Conversation Design Festival and Beyond Boundaries Global Festival.
