DIGITAfrica is a transformative initiative aimed at contributing to the digital landscape across Africa. By co-constructing a comprehensive strategy to structure a pan-African RI in digital sciences, we empower researchers, strengthen innovation, and drive socio-economic development.

Through strategic collaborations between African and European institutions, DIGITAfrica bridges the digital divide, promotes open science practices, and builds capacity in cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, data science, and advanced computing.

Aligned with the African Union’s STISA-2024 strategy, DIGITAfrica fosters inclusivity by supporting young researchers and women in STEM, while ensuring sustainable and impactful digital transformation for research, education, and industry.
