Every border on the map has a backstory. MapEons tells it.

One country, empire or city per video, from its first villages to the lines on today's map, in about twenty minutes. Watch kingdoms spread and split, empires rise and fall apart, and borders get drawn in an afternoon, then fought over for centuries.

How every video is made:
• The map always shows the year being described, not today's borders with old names on top.
• Every date, number and name is checked against at least two independent sources: academic histories, encyclopaedias, national archives.
• Where historians disagree, you'll hear it. Legends are called legends.
• When a story has two sides, you get both.

No padding. No invented drama. Just the map, the people who changed it, and why it looks the way it does today.

The map so far: Iran and Israel. Tell me in the comments which country goes on the map next.
