A Playroom Today, a Study Room Tomorrow?

Kids grow up fast and so a well-designed home should be able to grow with them.

For this 45-year-old townhouse, Nina Tay Lee designed a playroom that works for the family today, while leaving room for it to become something else in the future.

For now, it's a space for play, creativity, and making memories. But as the kids get older, the room can evolve into a study area where they can focus, learn, and eventually have a space of their own.

Because good design isn't just about solving the needs of today. It's about anticipating what tomorrow might look like, too.

A home that grows with the family, one space at a time.

Small Bathroom? Think Bigger.

Less visual clutter means more room to breathe.

In this compact master’s bathroom, Nina Tay Lee used floor-to-ceiling Neolith slabs to create a more continuous look across the walls. With fewer grout lines and less visual interruption, the space feels cleaner, more open, and larger than it actually is.

Paired with Neolith Shi Lin in a slate finish underfoot and a Calacatta Viola countertop, the bathroom balances practicality with character - without making the small footprint feel overwhelming.

Sometimes, making a small space feel bigger isn't about adding more. It's about creating fewer visual breaks.

Understated, but never ordinary.

This powder room may be small and subdued, but look a little closer and you'll find plenty of character.

Neolith Shi Lin brings texture across the walls and floor, while Golden Wave adds a darker accent with hints of gold. A broken piece of travertine frames the mirror in an unexpected way, and Nero Zimbabwe ties the darker tones together at the countertop.

Nothing too loud, nothing excessive - just thoughtful material choices that give a small space its own personality.

Sometimes, the most interesting details are the ones you discover slowly.
