Artex Craft Center

Center for the Artistic and Traditional Craftsmanship in Tuscany.

Born in 1987 on the initiative of Confartigianato and CNA, it works with a precise objective: to protect, develop, innovate and promote artistic and traditional productions in Italy and in the main foreign markets.

Artex carries out initiatives aimed at businesses at a local, European and international level: territorial promotion projects, organization of events and participation in trade fairs in Italy and abroad, and business consultancy activities for planning and support in participation in tenders and financing measures.

Artex is one of the founders of the International Handicraft Charter, created to protect, enhance and promote the artistic and traditional handicraft sector.

The headquarters of Artex is in Florence, in Via Giano della Bella 20, at the Conventino Fuori le Mura, a suggestive building of 3,500 square meters, in the Oltrarno, a district full of artistic and artisanal activities.
