How ELEGOO Emerges
A decade ago, open-source electronics faced two major challenges: limited access to suitable technical tools, particularly for beginners, and a lack of universalized STEM education. Makers in the STEM industry and enterprises focused solely on open-source electronics hardware, as they lacked the tools to create a complete product by integrating electronic hardware and structural shells.

In 2015, Chris Hong founded ELEGOO in Shenzhen, the Silicon Valley of China, with a mission to offer practical electronic and structural tool kits that cater to the needs of students, enthusiasts, and STEM professionals worldwide. Focusing on programming and 3D printing technology, ELEGOO provides unique and smart creation spaces for diverse consumers to have convenient, joyful, and personalized user experiences.
