I’m Jeff “Geof Bard” Everhard, a writer, musician, community advocate, and 2026 candidate for the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District Board.
This channel — The Bard Wire — is my corner of the internet: music, Isla Vista and the California coast, dogs and outdoor life, political and human-rights discussions, book reviews, writing projects, and observations about the world around me.
You’ll find fiddle, guitar and mandolin performances; conversations about politics, journalism and society; nature and ocean footage; dog videos; and occasional discussions of my books and other writing, including work on cybersecurity, civil liberties and political affairs.
During the 2026 campaign, I’ll also be posting short videos about Isla Vista’s parks, recreation, public spaces, environmental stewardship, and the issues before the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District.
