Jermaine “Flaimz” Ferguson is a Minnesota artist, songwriter, two time author, and storyteller whose music blends emotional R&B soul, West Coast street rap, and real-life testimony..
Having spent more than two decades incarcerated while maintaining his innocence, Flaimz uses music as a voice for the unheard and a platform for truth, healing, and hope. His songs reflect the realities of prison life, the impact of wrongful convictions, the bonds of family and brotherhood, and the determination to keep fighting when the odds are stacked against you.
Writing from lived experience about pain, loss, loyalty, faith, and perseverance.
Alongside collaborators such as D-Nice, KB, Fresh, Mrs Flaimz, this music is rooted in authenticity, accountability, and growth.
“They took years from my life, but they could never take my voice.”
