Hi there! My name is Marissa and I'm just a book enthusiast here to chat about books with you. You'll likely find me gushing about Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, all things Victorian, historical fiction, and some contemporary adult fiction too. There might also be mention of yoga, knitting, cats, and tea. So feel free to subscribe if you like these sorts of things.
Review policy: I would gladly receive review copies from publishers. I enjoy classics, historical fiction, literary fiction, general women's fiction and realist short story collections. I will not review YA, middle grade, Sci-fi, horror, erotica or thrillers, and will only rarely review non-fiction or poetry. I generally do not review self-published works. Please use my email address listed below to contact me if desired.
“A book, too, can be a star, ‘explosive material, capable of stirring up fresh life endlessly,’ a
living fire to lighten the darkness, leading out into the expanding universe.” - Madeleine L’Engle
