Escape to a Simpler Place and Time - Invidious

Escape to a Simpler Place and Time

We’re an English couple — Susan and Jeff — living a slow, peaceful life in a rural Bulgarian village, where time feels as though it has stood still.

Our videos share everyday countryside life with a focus on slow living, rustic interiors, self-sufficiency, local traditions, home-cooked food, property restoration, and the beauty of nature that surrounds us.

Each film offers a gentle journey into the heart of rural life — where cottagecore charm, nostalgia, and simplicity intertwine. Through calming visuals and soft storytelling, we invite you to slow down and rediscover the quiet magic of country living.

We also provide a property survey service for anyone considering purchasing a home in Bulgaria. For more information, see the link below
