Tim Fletcher is a pioneer in the Addictions and Complex Trauma field. After 30+ years of helping others as a pastor, his own trauma recovery and work in addictions treatment led him to recognize how deeply Complex Trauma intersects with addiction, mental health, behavior, and coping. Tim founded the RE/ACT program and later Tim Fletcher Co. His work has since shaped our LIFT Program, ALIGN Courses, COMPASS Program, and more.
We're a team who’ve faced Complex Trauma ourselves and are committed to supporting others in their recovery. Through Tim’s free videos, our courses, community support, and our intensive programs, we’re helping change the landscape of Complex Trauma recovery.
If you’re wondering where to begin, we invite you to start with Tim’s videos here on YouTube. If you need more guidance, reach out to us — you don’t have to do this alone.

When no one listened to you as a child, you learned to doubt whether your voice mattered. Re-parenting helps us heal those wounds with awareness, so we stop passing the same patterns on.
And as many parents know, when your kids head back to school, old patterns tend to surface fast. Morning arguments, shutdowns after a bad day, a kid who won't talk to you at all -- these moments can pull you right back into the same disconnection you grew up with. If you're watching your child struggle and recognizing pieces of your own childhood in it, this bundle is built for that exact intersection.
This five-course collection combines ALIGN With Your Child with four Loving Someone courses -- Anxiety, Depression, Process Addiction, and Hurtful Behaviour -- to help you understand what's happening in your child, what's happening in you, and how the two connect. You'll learn to recognize signs of Complex Trauma in your child's anxiety, low mood, compulsive behaviours, or hurtful outbursts, without pathologizing or blaming them for what are often survival adaptations. And you'll look honestly at how your own generational trauma shows up in your parenting, so you can respond instead of react.
If you want to break a cycle instead of repeating it, this bundle will give you the tools to rebuild trust, repair ruptures already caused, and re-align with your child this school year. Healing isn't linear, and neither is parenting; this is a starting point for doing both differently.
The bundle is only available until September 27, and you get lifetime access to: ALIGN With Your Child Course + Community, Loving Someone with Anxiety, Loving Someone with Depression, Loving Someone with a Process Addiction, Loving Someone Who is Hurtful.

⌛ Only available until September 27, 2026.

The voice that tears you down after a mistake at work often isn't really yours, it's an old parent's voice that moved in a long time ago. For people who grew up where forgiveness had to be earned through punishment, being hard on yourself can feel like the only responsible way to handle failure. But self-compassion, not self-punishment, is what actually leads to lasting change and motivation. Learning to forgive yourself quickly and move forward is a skill worth building, on the job and everywhere else.

For a lot of people with Complex Trauma, setting a boundary at work feels less like self-care and more like an invitation for rejection — or worse, discipline. That fear often traces back to a childhood where boundaries were either inconsistent, too harsh, or nonexistent, so saying "no" never felt safe. The result on the job can look like a model employee, always saying yes, always accommodating, while quietly burning out underneath it. Learning that your needs matter just as much as everyone else's is the real starting point for change.

For many people with Complex Trauma, conflict was never something two equal people worked through together, it was something you either won, lost, or avoided entirely. That history shows up at work as passive-aggressiveness, triangulating with coworkers, or just going along with things while resentment quietly builds underneath. Learning that you're allowed to show up as an equal, with needs and concerns that matter, is a skill that has to be built, not one that comes naturally after that kind of past. Conflict handled well can actually strengthen a working relationship instead of damaging it.

When acceptance always feels dependent on performing well, insecurity becomes the default setting. For a lot of people with Complex Trauma, that means every mistake at work isn't just a mistake, it's proof that people are judging them, talking behind their back, thinking less of them. That anxiety doesn't come from nowhere; it comes from years of learning that love and respect had to be earned through performance. Healing that takes time and safe relationships, ones where you're accepted even when you're not perfect.

Enrollment for our Youth Program is open now!
Complex Trauma doesn't stay contained to one generation. A lot of teens are carrying more than their years should ask of them, often without the words for what they're feeling or why.
This program gives them that language. Over 24 sessions, teens learn what Complex Trauma is, how it shows up in emotions and relationships, and how to build real tools for navigating it, alongside a small group of peers who get it.
It's not just for teens in crisis. It's just as valuable for teens who want to understand themselves better and build a stronger foundation before things escalate.
Meets: Fridays at 8:00 PM ET
Start Date: September 18, 2026
Seats limited to 10 participants per group.
For teens ages 14 to 16, we ask that they have a support person in their life who has completed the LIFT Live Online Learning program. For teens ages 17 to 18, a LIFT-graduate support person is still strongly preferred, though we may accept teens without one depending on individual readiness. This is worked through together during the intake process, so if you're unsure if qualifications are met, reach out and we'll figure it out with you.

If you have Complex Trauma, you didn't just bring your resume to this job — you brought your nervous system too.
Insecurity, conflict avoidance, a brutal inner critic, a stress toolkit stuck at age 5.. these don't clock out when you do. They show up in every meeting, every performance review, every disagreement with a coworker.
This week we're breaking down the real reasons people with Complex Trauma struggle at work, and how understanding it is the first step to changing it.
🔴 Full episode premieres on YouTube tonight at 4:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM CT. Come watch live and drop your questions in the chat. Get notified when it starts here: https://youtu.be/_Ey7AxNB-vg
Save this for later, share it with someone who needs it, and follow for more on Complex Trauma and healing. Visit our website at timfletcher.ca to learn more.

Re-parenting is the process of going back and giving yourself what you didn't receive as a child, because the parent or caregiver either couldn't or wouldn't provide it the first time.
At the core of Complex Trauma are needs that went unmet and pain that was never resolved. Re-parenting is the work of identifying which of your needs went unmet, understanding how that has shaped the beliefs and patterns you carry today, and learning, often for the first time as an adult, how to actually meet those needs—to be the parent you needed then, now.
This isn't something you're meant to do entirely on your own. Part of re-parenting is finding safe people, a mentor, a therapist, a community, who can act as surrogate support: meeting a need for you temporarily while you learn how to meet it for yourself.
It is not a metaphor. It is a skill you were never taught, and one you can still learn now.
If you haven't gone through it yet, the Re-Parenting Series here is a 117-part series that covers the Re-Parenting process, from Attachment to Inner Child work to Anxiety, Relationships and more.
