The Escarpment Project started as Project Punchbowl in 2012 when a group of fantastic volunteers cleaned the litter and debris from Devil's Punchbowl in Hamilton/Stoney Creek, Ontario.
There has been and continues to be a great amount of support for The Escarpment Project from Grimsby to Toronto, up to Guelph and beyond.
Due in part to this fantastic support it has become an environmental movement in Hamilton and has incubated other large clean-up organizations. It often encompasses the escarpment from Dundas through Hamilton & Stoney Creek to Grimsby, and St Catharines.
Our annual clean-up is usually on a Sunday near the end of April and is followed by a BBQ/Festival celebration. The videos on this channel are a sample of the area and clean up support offered by the various volunteers. Enjoy, share the news and join us. Our hashtag is #EscPrj
