Don is an educator and author who as written more than a dozen books, including two Canadian best sellers. His education career began in a small Newfoundland outport and spanned 50 years from West African training centres and First Nations classrooms to Jamaican youth climate change workshops.

And at almost every stop, he got a book out of it.

Don has published in most genres, from YA fiction, children’s chapter books to adult non-fiction.

The Soul Catcher series, his latest books, are urban fantasy that create a world beneath our feet mirroring the dark forces at work on our planet and the forces arrayed against them.

Don lives in Victoria, British Columbia, with his wife of 54 years.
