The Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI/IRES) is a nonprofit organization (NPO) actively promoting the utilization of Renewable Energy to enhance energy security, improve energy access, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia.

Established since May 11, 1999, METI/IRES serves as a platform for scientists, educators, regulators, developers, businesses, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), associations in the field of Renewable Energy, and other stakeholders to exchange ideas and share perspectives on strategic and pragmatic issues related to the utilization of Renewable Energy.
