Instituto Eliseu

The Instituto Eliseu was born in honor of the cat Eliseu, who came to us with the mission of saving many lives and became a symbol of resilience and love for animals.

We began our work as ONG Viva Bicho, envisioned by animal protectors and founded in 2000, becoming the first Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the city of Santos.

In 2016, the organization’s philosophy and principles were adapted with technique and safety to meet the need for population control and the fight against animal cruelty.

In 2022, we became Instituto Viva Bicho Brasil, expanding our reach to include wildlife rescue.

In 2024, in honor of Eliseu and his life mission, we became the Instituto Eliseu, maintaining our unwavering commitment to protecting, rescuing, and transforming lives.
